Congrats are in order for Sophia Macy. She got accepted into Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh for the fall semester. The actress even added “CMU Drama ‘24” to her IG bio.
What makes this news so awesome is that Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy’s oldest daughter did it on her own. After her mother was indicted in the college admissions scandal, she arranged to retake her SATs. To get into Carnegie Mellon, it takes a score of 1450 to 1550 – which she was clearly able to achieve.
To review, the “Desperate Housewives” star was accused of paying $15-thousand dollars to enhance Sophia’s scores. She pleaded guilty to fraud charges in May 2019 and served 14 days at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California last October.
