Mindy Kaling is facing a $25-thousand lawsuit over a massive car crash that happened in August. The alleged victim claims that Mindy’s reckless conduct caused severe damage to the woman’s car and that she has suffered “grave bodily injury.” She wants the cash for medical and health care expenses.
According to the paperwork, the unnamed woman claims that the Emmy Award winner was using her cell phone when she ran a stop sign and hit the her car on Highland Street in Hollywood. At the time, she sustained injuries to the body and “shock and injury to the nervous system,” and continues to suffer “great physical, mental, and nervous pain.”
So far, Mindy hasn’t responded to the suit.
