Gas prices here in Mid Michigan have been on the rise since last week. The average gallon of gas now is at $4.09, with some stations still reporting gas prices at $3.89. Gas prices skyrocketed at the pump thanks to a slow recovery from the pandemic, sanctions placed on Russia and oil companies shifting from cheaper winter gas, to more expensive summer varieties.
