A Shepherd School board member is seeking appeal of language in a recall against him. Shepherd resident Teresa Meyer is seeking Matthew Showalter’s recall over a comment he is alleged to have made during a junior varsity football game about a player’s name. Showalter apologized and stepped down from the position of vice president of the board, but didn’t step down from the board itself. Showalter said he believed the recall language was not factual.
