Sanford resident Eddie Magee, who was known as a community leader and a family man passed away suddenly over spring break. He was vacationing in Florida with his wife Holly and 14-year-old daughter when he suffered some kind of stroke. Magee had survived COVID after being hospitalized. It isn’t known yet if that had contributed to his death. He was 42.
