24-year-old Midland man Devon Lockwood was sentenced to 93 days in jail, $600 in fines and a year of probation for speeding, driving 146 mph in a 55 mph zone on M-20 in April. District Court Judge Michael Carpenter delayed the sentence for one year, and if Lockwood avoids traffic violations completely in that time, the case will be dismissed. A charge of reckless driving was also dismissed.
