T.J. Miller is the latest famous face being accused of abuse. A woman he had a relationship with 15 years ago while they were both in college, who is being referred to as Sarah for anonymity purposes, says Miller sexually assaulted and abused her during their relationship.
Miller, in a joint statement with his wife Kate Gorney, completely denies Sarah’s allegations. What’s more, they say this woman has been trying to discredit them for years. “We met this woman over a decade ago while studying together in college, she attempted to break us up back then by plotting for over a year before making contradictory claims and accusations,” Miller and Gorney claim. “It is unfortunate that she is choosing this route as it undermines the important movement to make women feel safe coming forward about legitimate claims against real known predators.”
Regardless of Miller’s claims of innocence, Comedy Central has already cancelled “The Gorburger Show,” which he stars in.
