A 24-year-old Mt. Pleasant woman is facing a 10-year-felony for her baby’s fractured skull after admitting she struck the child with a bowl. Michelle Lynn Parcher first told authorities nothing happened but later admit to striking the child after she was “acting out!” She’s charged with lying to police, after trying to pin the accident on the babysitter. The child was struck again after the mom rammed his head into an open cupboard drawer.
