Former Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge’s is bringing his longtime interest in the paranormal to the small screen in May. He’s set to executive produce a mini-series for the History Channel about UFOs. But it’s not your typical “UFO hunting show” – “Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation” promises to “disclose new information in an effort to change government policy about the potential threats UFOs pose to US national security.”
For the six-part series, DeLonge has teamed up with former government officials Luis Elizondo and Chris Mellon. Elizondo was one of the primary sources of the 2017 New York Times article revealing the existence of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). They’ll provide eyewitness interviews along with “authenticated” footage and other evidence of UFOs, in an attempt to inspired the public to “ask questions and look for answers.”
“With this show, the real conversation can finally begin,” says DeLonge of the program. “I’m thankful to History for giving the To The Stars Academy team of world-class scientists, engineers and intelligence experts the opportunity to tell the story in a comprehensive and compelling way.” Check out the trailer to the right.
