The Great Lakes Loons extended their lead for the final playoff spot over the Lansing Lugnuts with a series-clinching 2-0 victory over the South Bend Cubs Sunday at Dow Diamond. Leonardo Crawford was awarded the win after pitching four relief innings, allowing only two hits and no runs. Luke Raley and Erick Meza provided the scoring for the Loons in the victory. The Loons now lead the Lansing Lugnuts by 3.5 games in the playoff race.
