Gratiot County man Louis Kelly will serve jail time after pleading guilty to owning a Rottweiler. A judge told Kelly he was no longer allowed to own the breed after one of his four dogs attacked 8-year-old Ethan Nikes in May of 2015. That dog was euthanized. Kelly entered a guilty plea to owning the dog, and failing to properly place a specific fence ordered by the judge on his property line. He will serve 206 days in jail.
