The Central Michigan University Budget Priorities Committee discussed a $9.8 million budget deficit the university faces at Wednesday’s fall forum. Vice president of finance and administrative services Barrie Wilkes says all areas of the university are subject to reductions, except the advancement office, admissions and student success areas. University enrollment is lower this year than initially expected, contributing to the deficit.
