General Motors is recalling about 41,000 pickup trucks and police SUV’s b/c of loose brake pedals. The recall covers 2015 & 2016 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra 2500 & 3500’s, the 1500 special service pickup truck & some Chevy Tahoe SUV’s. GM says the brake pedal “pivot nut” may loosen, which’ll make it impossible for the driver to stop. The co. says they plan to notify vehicle owners, but didn’t give a timeframe, as to when. GM also isn’t saying if any crashes have occurred b/c of this issue.
