The former pastor of a mid-Michigan church has pleaded guilty to embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from the church over several years. Douglas Hammond was charged with stealing over $285,000 from the Olivet Assemly of God Church. He plead guilty on Nov 12th. He is set to be sentenced next June, due to current health concerns.
