A Shepherd woman has been accused of using charity gift cards from a 2016 Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival “Party in the Park” fundraiser for work on her own car. 44-year-old Staci Bailey collected $100 in gift certificates from Pennzoil Quick Lube in Mt Pleasant and used them for a transmission flush on her own car, according to the police report. Bailey disputes the allegation. She faces a 93-day misdemeanor and $500 in fines if convicted.
