Mid Michigan Community College will get $1.25 million over the next five years for the Educational Talent Search Program. The program allows MMCC to take 6th through 12th graders in the area on college field trips to explore different campuses, help them with study skills, assist in scholarship searches, and offer SAT/ACT prep. MMCC says the program mostly benefits low income students in the Clare and Gladwin areas who don’t get many opportunities at home.
