The Detroit Tigers want to leave Tampa ASAP. The Tigers fell 8-1 on Thursday afternoon to complete an ugly sweep at the hands of the Rays. The sweep was the first for Detroit since last August against the Yankees. Starter Daniel Norris allowed four runs in the first two innings, all of which could be partially blamed on shoddy defense. The Rays also homered three times against reliever Warwick Saupold to pad their lead. The Tigers travel to Minnesota tonight for a weekend series against the Twins.
