Matthew Liesch, a professor in the Geography Department at CMU, has been appointed to fill the position vacated by Mark Ranzenberger on the Mt. Pleasant Planning Commission. Liesch was one of ten applicants for the position, and will serve in a term that expires on December 31st of this year.
